The International Forum „Cycles of Commemoration: Forced Labour in Europe during World War II.”is accompanied by an outdoor board exhibition with the same title which will be available for two months on Uniwersytecki Square in Wroclaw.

The exhibition will present projects on forced labour during the Second World War, being carried out or recently completed  by selected organizations, institutions and foundations from various European countries, including: Poland, Germany, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Serbia, Ukraine, Russia, Norway and Italy. The multitude of countries presenting their projects at the exhibition gives a glimpse of the various perspectives on the problem of forced labour during World War II as well as its social effects and contemporary interpretations. The projects include scientific, documentary or educational projects, as well as exhibitions, websites and textbooks for high school and university students.

The exhibition will also present the activities of the Forum’s organizers: Willy Brandt Center for German and European Studies and the EVZ Foundation (“Erinnerung, Verantwortung, Zukunft”).
